  • Trees absorb carbon dioxide and help reduce a major portion of greenhouse gases (GHG). We planted more than 55 types of trees in our industrial premises, including the rooftops. Thus, the trees and plants reduce carbon emissions.
     
  • We emphasize on using energy savings technology. Hence, we use energy savings LED lights at our factories, helping us limit the emission of carbon dioxide by over 500 tons yearly.
     
  • Research shows that combustion of natural gas emits almost 30 percent less carbon dioxide than oil. In order to be environmentally friendlier and reduce carbon emissions, we have replaced diesel boilers with natural gas boilers for steam production.
     
  • Our working hours are from 8.00 AM to 5.00 PM, while many industries run their production process from 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM. Therefore, we utilize sunlight for an hour longer every day, which is most effective during winter season.

  • Tree plantations throughout our factory premises help us reduce carbon emissions significantly.

  • Biodiversity, natural habitats and protected areas in the immediate vicinity of our premises are protected from damage or exploitation.

  • High tech machines, such as the Front Loading Washing Machine, are used at our washing plant to maintain high sustainability standards.

  • Site of our Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) at Global Outerwear Ltd.

  • As part of our program on “air filtering houseplant for improving indoor air quality”, plants are placed inside our buildings to filter out certain compounds in the air, making it much healthier. This program follows NASA guidelines.

  • We have 55 types of plants and trees at our industrial premises to reduce carbon emissions, including the rooftops of factories.
