Founded in 2018, Global Steel and Engineering Ltd. (GSEL) is a steel product engineering, manufacturing and galvanizing company. GSEL, a sister concern of Azim Group, delivers superior quality steel products through innovation and sustainable growth. We aim to drive the local steel industry to a standard of excellence and make continuous improvement over the next decade.

Significant portions of villages and localities in Bangladesh are still not connected to the National grid. Also, many existing connections are not robust and scalable. While power generation has experienced an exponential growth in the country, power transmission and distribution are lagging behind. 

GSEL produces quality steel products for the power infrastructure to meet the rising demand. We play a significant role in increasing the accessibility of energy to all – from industries to the underserved populations of rural Bangladesh. Besides power, GSEL serves in the telecom, bridges and rail transport industry, manufacturing a variety of infrastructural products. 

We specialize in the engineering, manufacturing and galvanizing of Electrical Transmission Towers, River Crossing Towers, Telecom Towers, Electrical Transmission and Distribution Line Hardware, and various other forged, fabricated and Aluminum die-casted Hardware. Furthermore, we also provide turn-key services from design to commissioning as required. 

GSEL started operations at our state-of-the-art factory premises in Dhamrai, Dhaka in January 2018. Our factory area stretches over a land of 30 acres, with a production capacity of 36,000 tons per annum of steel towers and other angular products and 10,000 tons per annum of other hardware.
